What is WVPolitics.org all about?
The mission of WVPolitics.org is primarily to educate the citizens about their elected officials and the offices they hold. WVPolitics.org plans on bringing murky, hidden secrets of our public representatives to light, revealing openly what they earn, what their job descriptions are, what they do (and what they refuse to do), and assess their overall job performance.

What does 'browse level' mean?
Each reply, or comment, left by a user is rated by a site administrator. Replies are initially given a rating of 1, unless the user elected to post anonymously, in which case the reply is given a rating of 0. After a reply is posted, a site administrator can judge whether the reply is informative and interesting, or merely flamebait and stupid. Then the administrator 'rates' the reply accordingly. If the reply is deemed worthy, its level is increased. Otherwise, it's decreased. When you choose to browse at a particular level, you're electing to read only comments that meet or exceed that level. Replies are rated on a scale of 0 to 5, with 0 meaning you probably don't want to waste your time, and 5 meaning it doesn't get better than this.
